No, participating in the Global Data and AI Hackathon is completely free. Our aim is to encourage innovation and collaboration in the data science and AI community without barriers.

Yes, participation in the hackathon requires forming or joining a team. Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members. This fosters collaboration and allows for a diversity of skills and ideas to come together.

Over $15,000 in prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams and individuals.

The challenges will be revealed on the first day of the hackathon. This ensures a fair and exciting start for all teams, encouraging creativity and strategic thinking from the outset

Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, technical innovation, applicability, scalability, and impact. A panel of experts from academia and industry will review the projects according to these criteria.

Participants will have access to a range of resources, including datasets, APIs, computing resources, and mentorship from our mentors and sponsors. Workshop sessions on relevant topics will also be available in the lead-up to the hackathon.
